The younger me was never able to stay in one place very long. I remember when I was leaving Detroit Lakes, MN and moving to the Twin Cities. I was sitting in my 600 sf lake cabin on Little Detroit Lake. A pile of boxes were stacked up and waiting in the living room. I was thinking about all my friends, all the places I'd lived. Here I was, moving again. It was a sad yet invigorating feeling. The lyrics appeared to me, expressing exactly how I was feeling at that time. I grabbed my guitar and leaned back on the couch. Deep in thought...I was still searching, still restless, still single, and still looking for the next big adventure. I don't know if a person can ever be completely satisfied in this life? But, riding my motorcycle always seems to make things better.
